Smaller, fuel-efficient engine are on the way at Ford Motors. It was confirmed recently by the Ford Group Vice President of Global Product Development, that a turbocharged EcoBoost powertrain will be available to the United States market by 2013.

Between 2003 and 2004, only a little over 11,000 Mercury Marauder sedans were built by the American auto maker. Following a classic 1960's automobile with the same name, Marauder was a supercharged special edition built using the Ford Crown Victoria / Mercury Grand marquis body added to a supercharged engine.
