The auto experts at Kelley Blue Book's kbb.com have named the 2012 Hyundai Elantra one of the "10 Best Green Cars for 2012." This is the second consecutive year the Elantra has made the list, in which editors present a wide variety of fuel-efficient vehicles.

The all-new 2013 Mazda CX-5 has received the highest safety award available; it has been named a "Top Safety Pick" by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) after rigorous testing. Testing methods include a side impact test, a rear crash protection test, a frontal offset test, and a roof strength test. Ratings are labeled as "Good," "Acceptable," "Marginal," or "Poor." To become a Top Safety Pick, a vehicle must earn a "Good" rating in all four tests.
