While Toyota has been dealt a difficult hand of cards this year; they're playing it the best they can. It even looks as though they're on track to resume their winning streak.

Just six months after their home country was broke to pieces by a devastating earthquake and crushed by a giant tsunami, they've gotten production levels in North America back on track. While production had previously returned to 100 percent in Japan, Toyota was estimating that levels would not return to optimal levels in the U.S. until the end of the year. Happily, Toyota plants in North America were able to get parts from Toyota suppliers in Japan a lot earlier than expected and steadily climb to optimal, healthy operations.

Coinciding with Toyota's return to normal production levels in North America, the company is expected to now focus on replenishing dealership inventory levels.  Spradley Barr Motors, located at 2200 Westland Road, Cheyenne, WY is very excited at this prospect, as it bodes extremely well for Toyota drivers in the greater Cheyenne area. Currently, Toyota manufactures a total of 12 cars, CUVs and trucks in North America. These include the Camry, RAV4, and Tacoma, which account for roughly 70 percent of the Japanese automaker's U.S. sales. They are planning to open another plant in Mississippi, it's fourteenth in the U.S., and will begin producing the Toyota Corolla there, next month. Toyota plans to institute overtime and Saturday shifts to help boost inventories of these and other Toyota models at dealerships across the country.
