Hyundai Sonata Named "All Star"

Automobile Magazine is making Hyundai a double winner.

The Hyundai 2011 Sonata sedan has been names amond 'the most outstanding cars of the year' and  the Sonata was added to the magazine's annual "All Stars" list.

The updated 2011 sedan was redesigned for the current model year, and became wildly popular over the second half of 2010. It has also helped Hyundai set sales and production records for 2010.

Last month, Mazda delivered a ton of modified vehicles to the SEMA show in Las Vegas. Starting off, the Mazda2 "Evil Track" is an update of the MAZDA2 Evil concept, which debuted at the 2009 Los Angeles Auto Show. It features an aerodynamic body kit, an H&R suspension, a roll cage, Sparco seats, and lightweight 15-inch wheels with Hoosier race tires.

Mercury Selling New as Used

Mercury has a new plan to get remaining stock off of dealership lots, in order to make room for new Ford & LINCOLN models - sell the cars as used.

Ryan Colb, a LINCOLN-Mercury dealer operations manager, said the idea seem to be working: his dealership started the week with eight Mercury vehicles and sold six. He took final pay Friday on the last two, both Mountaineer SUVs.
